Getting Here
Paddington Markets is conveniently located on the outskirts of the Sydney CBD, with a range of public transport nearby. Parking is, however, limited in the area, so we recommend walking (just 30 minutes from Hyde Park) or catching public transport.
Ways to Travel Eco-Friendly to the Market:
-
Take the train to Museum Station and get any of Sydney buses no: 333 or 440 up Oxford St and get off at the first stop after Paddington Town Hall.
-
Take a bus from the city to Bondi Junction that goes up Oxford St and get off at the first stop after Paddington Town Hall.
-
Take the 333 from Bondi to the city and get off in front of Max Brenners or Mitre 10 Hardware in Paddington Shopping Centre.
-
Take the 352 from Marrickville Metro and get off in Paddington Shopping Strip on Oxford Street, opposite the church.
-
Walk from Pitt St Mall to bus stops on Elizabeth St near St James Station. Look for stop where the 333 bus departs to Bondi. Take this bus up Oxford St, Paddington and get off the bus at the Queen St stop.

Driving to the Market?
When you drive to Paddington Markets it's best to park in Centennial Park near the Paddington Gates. Drive through Centennial Park and turn left at the cafe (Parkes Drive) as if you are driving out of the park and find a parking spot near the Paddington Gates ( 3 hours free parking). Alternately, you can park on Oxford St along the front of Centennial Park. It is less than 5 mins walk from here. Parking is, however, extremely limited so we recommend taking one of the options above.
